At the HKU (University of the Arts, Utrecht), I teach a set of game-related courses called Game Analysis, where students learn to analyse games, extract the game design techniques used, and then implement those techniques in their own projects. During my lessons, I make use of interactive presentation software, engage the students in discussions, show games and have the students analyse them — we even play a short tabletop RPG session!
